Mr. Good Enough: 5 Ways to Find and Keep Him

Women are always complaining about finding a good man, but it's not eay for a man to find a good woman either. We tend to look for 100% men and the truth is there is no such thing. No one is perfect everyone has flaws. You must ask yourself if it's worth the risk. Over time and through discussions with my many male friends I have discovered some ways to find and keep Mr. Good Enough. Here are 5 ways to attract and keep him.

1. Don’t obsess about wanting to get a man. ~~Desperation~~ is very obvious and a complete turnoff. Make sure you want him for the right reasons.

2. Be yourself. Noone wants to meet one person and find out they are dating a completely different person later. Most guys hate it when girls are possessive and clingy. If you are possessive maybe you should find a man who needs that sort or attention. Most men, especially the good ones, are looking for someone with whom they can be comfortable, and not someone who is always intense. You have to let loose and live a little, don't be afraid to take chances and get out there.

3. Have a life. Grab a group of friends and go to a club or bar, whatever your scene. If a guy is not available to take you out or to spend time with you, you should always have a back up plan so you are not texting/calling him all night about being borred. Desperate, dramatic, and clingy relationships are often rooted in a feeling of desperation for a man in your life.

4. Stop Playing games. Head games are particularly annoying. It is deceptive, and will hurt anybody who trusts you. Guys don't like playing games they are very straightforward about what they want and want you to be as well, just don't come on too strong.

5. DON'T GIVE IT UP ON THE FIRST DATE! Most woomen think if they have sex with a guy they will stick around, but ask yourself... What are they sticking around for?? They already got what they wanted. Make him wait as long as possible and if he doesn't want to waiit maybe he's not good enough for you :).

I just pre-ordered my copy of "The Conversation.." by Hill Harper. I can't wait until it gets here!! The book will be released on September 8th. Hill Harper is a community activist, actor, and author. You probably know him as Dr. Sheldon Hawkes in CSI:NY or maybe you associate him as "that guy who went to Harvard with Obama" lol. However you came to know Mr. Harper you would agree that he is very educated and well articulated! I first saw him in The Breed. I loved his acting abilities, but hated his character.. in my opinion they portrayed him as an ignorant black man. Initially being a CSI: Miami fan, I decided to check out CSI:NY. Hill Harper captivated me and ever since I've been hooked. He appeared on the Brian McKnight show this week discussing his book.
